About Summit Elite

What is Summit Elite IV & Aesthetics?+

Summit Elite IV & Aesthetics is a concierge wellness and aesthetics practice serving the Nashville area. We offer services designed to support wellness, weight management, appearance, recovery, and overall quality of life.

Our services include medically supervised weight management, GLP-1 treatment when clinically appropriate, Botox and other aesthetic injectable treatments, dermal fillers, medical Botox treatments, IV hydration and nutrient therapy, wellness injections, NAD+ therapy, and other personalized wellness services.

Is Summit Elite a medical practice?+

Many services offered by Summit Elite are medical treatments and require appropriate clinical oversight. Depending on the service, you may be required to complete a health history, consultation, medical screening, or Good Faith Exam before treatment.

Who performs my treatment?+

Treatments are performed by appropriately licensed and trained healthcare professionals operating within their professional scope of practice and under applicable clinical protocols and medical oversight.

The type of clinician involved in your care may vary depending on the service being provided.

Do I need a consultation before receiving treatment?+

Some treatments can be scheduled directly, while others require a consultation or medical evaluation before treatment.

Prescription medications, weight-management programs, certain IV therapies, aesthetic injectable treatments, and other medical services may require additional screening before treatment can begin.

Do you treat everyone who requests a service?+

No. Every treatment must be medically appropriate for the individual receiving it.

A clinician may recommend modifying, postponing, or declining a treatment based on your medical history, medications, allergies, current symptoms, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, previous procedures, or other clinical considerations. Your safety always comes before completing a treatment.

Is Summit Elite LGBTQ+ affirming?+

Absolutely.

Summit Elite IV & Aesthetics is committed to providing respectful, inclusive, judgment-free care. Every patient deserves to feel comfortable discussing their health, wellness, body, goals, and concerns with their healthcare team.

Weight Management

Does Summit Elite offer medical weight management?+

Yes. Our medical weight-management program provides individualized clinical support for patients who want help achieving and maintaining a healthier weight.

Depending on your medical history, goals, and clinical evaluation, your treatment plan may include prescription medication, nutritional guidance, lifestyle recommendations, activity goals, progress monitoring, and ongoing clinical follow-up.

What are GLP-1 medications?+

GLP-1 medications affect biological pathways involved in appetite, satiety, digestion, and blood-sugar regulation.

Some medications act primarily on the GLP-1 receptor, while others act on more than one metabolic pathway. When clinically appropriate, these medications may help patients feel satisfied with less food and make it easier to maintain the calorie reduction necessary for weight loss.

Do you offer semaglutide?+

Semaglutide may be available to eligible patients when prescribed by an appropriate healthcare provider. Availability, formulation, eligibility, and cost can vary. Your clinician will determine whether semaglutide or another treatment option is appropriate for you.

Do you offer tirzepatide?+

Tirzepatide may be available to eligible patients when clinically appropriate and prescribed by an appropriate healthcare provider.

Treatment recommendations are individualized and may change depending on your health history, previous treatment, goals, medication availability, and other clinical factors.

Is a GLP-1 right for me?+

Possibly, but medication isn't appropriate for everyone.

Eligibility depends on factors including your health history, current weight and BMI, weight-related medical conditions, medications, previous treatments, and potential contraindications. A clinician will evaluate these factors before prescribing treatment.

Do I need to have diabetes to use a GLP-1 medication?+

Not necessarily.

Certain medications in this class have indications for chronic weight management in eligible patients without diabetes. Your clinician will determine which medication and treatment approach, if any, is appropriate for you.

How quickly will I lose weight?+

There is no guaranteed amount or rate of weight loss.

Results vary significantly between patients based on medication, dose, treatment duration, starting weight, nutrition, activity level, metabolic health, adherence, and individual response. Our goal is not simply to make the number on the scale decrease as quickly as possible. We want to help you pursue sustainable improvements in health and body composition.

How often are GLP-1 medications taken?+

Many commonly prescribed injectable GLP-1 or related medications are administered once weekly, although treatment schedules depend on the specific medication prescribed.

Always follow the instructions provided by your prescribing clinician and pharmacy.

Will my dose increase over time?+

It may.

Many weight-management medications use gradual dose escalation. Increasing the dose slowly can help the body adjust to treatment and may reduce gastrointestinal side effects. Your dose should never be increased simply because you want faster weight loss.

What are common GLP-1 side effects?+

Common side effects can include nausea, decreased appetite, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, indigestion, or changes in bowel habits. Side effects often occur when beginning treatment or increasing a dose.

Contact your healthcare provider if symptoms are severe, persistent, unusual, or concerning.

Are there serious risks associated with GLP-1 medications?+

Yes. Like all prescription medications, GLP-1 and related medications can have potentially serious risks.

Your clinician will review relevant warnings, contraindications, medication interactions, and symptoms requiring medical attention as part of your treatment. Always provide a complete and accurate medical history before beginning treatment.

What happens if I experience side effects?+

Contact our clinical team.

Depending on the situation, your clinician may recommend supportive measures, delaying a dose increase, reducing a dose, changing treatment, temporarily holding medication, or seeking additional medical evaluation. Severe symptoms should never be ignored.

What should I eat while taking a GLP-1?+

Your nutritional needs are individual, but adequate protein, hydration, fiber, micronutrients, and overall caloric intake remain important. Because appetite may decrease significantly, patients should still make an intentional effort to provide their bodies with appropriate nutrition.

Should I exercise while using a GLP-1?+

Unless your healthcare provider advises otherwise, physical activity is an important part of a comprehensive weight-management program. Resistance training can be particularly useful because preserving lean muscle mass is an important consideration during significant weight loss.

Will I lose muscle while losing weight?+

Any significant weight loss can include loss of both fat and lean mass. Adequate protein intake, appropriate caloric intake, resistance training, physical activity, and clinical monitoring can help support muscle preservation.

Do I have to stay on a GLP-1 forever?+

Not necessarily, but obesity and weight regulation can be chronic conditions, and some patients may benefit from long-term treatment. Stopping medication can result in increased appetite and weight regain for some people.

Your clinician can help you develop an appropriate long-term strategy based on your response and goals.

What happens when I reach my goal weight?+

Reaching your goal doesn't necessarily mean your care ends.

We can discuss a maintenance strategy designed to support your progress. Depending on your individual situation, that may involve continued medication, dose adjustments, lifestyle strategies, ongoing monitoring, or other approaches.

Can I take GLP-1 medication if I am pregnant or trying to become pregnant?+

Weight-loss medications are generally not appropriate during pregnancy. Tell your clinician if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, planning pregnancy, or could become pregnant so your treatment plan can be evaluated appropriately.

Can GLP-1 medications interact with other medications?+

They can.

That's one reason we need an accurate medication list before treatment begins. Changes in gastric emptying, food intake, weight, glucose regulation, and other factors can affect medication management. Always tell your clinician about prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, supplements, and other therapies you use.

Do you offer compounded GLP-1 medications?+

Medication options depend on clinical appropriateness, current availability, applicable law, prescribing requirements, and pharmacy availability.

When a compounded medication is prescribed, patients should understand that compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing in the same way FDA-approved medications are. Your clinician can discuss the specific medication being recommended and why it may or may not be appropriate for your individual situation.

Are compounded medications the same as brand-name medications?+

No.

Compounded medications should not be described as generic or identical versions of FDA-approved medications. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. If a compounded medication is being considered, we encourage you to ask questions about the medication, pharmacy, formulation, dosing, storage, administration, and available FDA-approved alternatives.

Botox & Neuromodulators

What is Botox?+

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a prescription injectable medication containing botulinum toxin type A. It temporarily reduces targeted muscle activity and can soften the appearance of certain dynamic facial lines.

How does Botox work?+

Botox temporarily reduces the nerve signals that cause selected muscles to contract. When those muscles relax, the movement responsible for certain expression lines is reduced, allowing the overlying skin to appear smoother.

What areas can Botox treat cosmetically?+

Depending on the product, patient, and treatment plan, neuromodulators may be used for areas such as forehead lines, frown lines between the eyebrows, and crow's feet. Other aesthetic uses may be considered by qualified clinicians based on individual anatomy and treatment goals.

Will Botox make my face look frozen?+

The goal of thoughtfully planned treatment is typically to soften unwanted movement while preserving natural expression. Results depend on your anatomy, dose, injection placement, treatment goals, and individual response.

During your consultation, tell your injector whether you prefer a very subtle result or stronger movement reduction.

When will I see Botox results?+

Results do not appear immediately.

Many patients begin noticing changes within several days, with the full effect developing afterward. Your injector will explain when to evaluate your final result and whether a follow-up visit is appropriate.

How long does Botox last?+

Results vary, but cosmetic neuromodulator treatments commonly last several months. Muscle movement gradually returns as the effect wears off.

Does Botox hurt?+

Most patients describe the injections as brief pinches. The needles used for neuromodulator injections are very small, and treatment is generally completed quickly.

Is there downtime after Botox?+

Most patients return to normal activities shortly after treatment. Small bumps, redness, tenderness, or bruising around injection sites can occur temporarily. Your injector will provide specific post-treatment instructions.

Can I exercise after Botox?+

Your injector will provide individualized aftercare recommendations, including guidance about exercise and other activities following treatment. Follow those instructions rather than relying on generalized advice from social media or other sources.

Can Botox prevent wrinkles?+

Reducing repeated muscle movement may help reduce the appearance and progression of certain dynamic expression lines over time. However, Botox does not stop the natural aging process.

What is the difference between Botox and filler?+

They work very differently.

Botox and similar neuromodulators temporarily reduce targeted muscle activity. Dermal fillers add or restore volume within specific tissues. Depending on your goals, one treatment, the other, or a carefully planned combination may be appropriate.

Can Botox be reversed?+

Unlike many hyaluronic-acid fillers, Botox cannot simply be dissolved after treatment. Its effects gradually decrease as nerve signaling to the treated muscle recovers. This is one reason conservative dosing and careful treatment planning matter.

Medical Botox

Is Botox only used for cosmetic purposes?+

No.

Botulinum toxin products also have a variety of medical uses. Depending on the condition, product, clinical evaluation, and provider qualifications, botulinum toxin may be used therapeutically as well as cosmetically.

What medical conditions can Botox treat?+

Botulinum toxin products have FDA-approved therapeutic indications that include certain muscle-spasm disorders, chronic migraine, excessive sweating, overactive bladder, and other conditions.

Not every treatment is appropriate for every patient, and some uses of botulinum toxin may be considered off-label. Your clinician will explain the treatment being proposed and whether the specific use is FDA-approved or off-label.

Do you offer Botox for excessive sweating?+

Botulinum toxin may be used to reduce excessive sweating in appropriately selected patients. The treatment works by temporarily reducing the nerve signals that activate targeted sweat glands. A consultation is required to determine whether treatment is appropriate.

Can Botox help with jaw tension or teeth grinding?+

Botulinum toxin is sometimes used by clinicians to reduce activity in the masseter muscles associated with jaw clenching or related concerns. Depending on the indication and product, this may constitute an off-label use.

An evaluation is necessary because jaw pain and teeth grinding can have several causes and may require dental or medical assessment.

Do you treat migraines with Botox?+

Botox has an FDA-approved protocol for prevention of headaches in adults with chronic migraine who meet specific criteria. This treatment differs substantially from cosmetic Botox in dosing, injection pattern, medical evaluation, and follow-up.

Availability through Summit Elite should be confirmed with our clinical team.

Will insurance cover medical Botox?+

Coverage depends on the treatment, diagnosis, insurance plan, prior authorization requirements, and provider. Contact us regarding the specific treatment you're considering so we can explain available payment options and whether insurance billing is available for that service.

Dermal Fillers

What are dermal fillers?+

Dermal fillers are injectable products used to restore or enhance volume, improve certain facial contours, and soften the appearance of selected lines and folds. Different fillers have different formulations, properties, and FDA-approved indications.

What areas can filler treat?+

FDA-approved fillers have indications that can include areas such as the lips, cheeks, chin, nasolabial folds, certain facial wrinkles, and other specific areas depending on the product. Your injector will recommend treatment based on your anatomy rather than simply choosing a filler from a menu.

What are hyaluronic acid fillers?+

Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally present in the body that helps attract and retain water. Many popular dermal fillers use specially formulated hyaluronic acid gels to add or restore volume.

How long do fillers last?+

It depends on the product, treatment area, amount injected, metabolism, anatomy, and individual patient. Some fillers may last months while others can remain noticeable considerably longer. Your injector can provide a more specific expectation once a product and treatment area have been selected.

How much filler will I need?+

There is no universal answer. Some patients need only a subtle amount while others require staged treatments to achieve their desired result. We prefer individualized treatment plans rather than assuming every patient needs the same number of syringes.

Will I look overfilled?+

Our goal is balance, proportion, and results that complement your natural features. Tell your injector exactly what you want — and what you don't want — during your consultation.

Does filler hurt?+

You may feel pressure, pinching, or discomfort during treatment. Many hyaluronic-acid fillers contain lidocaine, and additional comfort measures may be available depending on the treatment area.

Will I bruise after filler?+

Bruising is possible with any injectable procedure. Swelling, redness, tenderness, and bruising are among the more common temporary effects following filler injections.

How long does filler swelling last?+

Swelling varies considerably depending on the area treated, product used, amount injected, injection technique, and individual response. Initial swelling does not necessarily represent your final result. Your injector will tell you when your treatment should be evaluated.

Can filler be dissolved?+

Many hyaluronic-acid fillers can be reduced or dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase when clinically appropriate. Not every type of filler can be dissolved this way.

Is filler safe?+

Dermal fillers are medical devices and carry risks. Common effects include swelling, bruising, redness, tenderness, and pain. Less-common and rare complications can be significantly more serious.

One of the most serious risks is accidental injection into a blood vessel, which can restrict blood supply and potentially cause tissue injury. Rare vascular complications can include tissue necrosis, vision impairment or blindness, and stroke. For this reason, filler should only be administered by appropriately trained healthcare professionals who understand facial anatomy and complication management.

What symptoms after filler require immediate attention?+

Your injector will provide specific emergency instructions.

Contact your provider immediately for severe or worsening pain, unusual skin discoloration, blanching, significant changes in the appearance of the treated area, vision changes, or other concerning symptoms. Vision changes or other symptoms suggesting a serious vascular complication require emergency medical attention.

IV Hydration & Nutrient Therapy

What is IV therapy?+

Intravenous therapy delivers fluids and selected ingredients directly into the bloodstream through an IV catheter. Depending on the treatment selected and your clinical eligibility, an infusion may contain fluids, vitamins, minerals, medications, or other ingredients.

Why choose an IV instead of oral supplements?+

IV administration bypasses the gastrointestinal tract and provides direct intravenous delivery. That does not mean IV therapy is automatically superior to oral supplementation for every nutrient, condition, or person. Our clinical team can help determine whether IV treatment makes sense for your goals.

How long does an IV appointment take?+

Many standard IV treatments take approximately 30–60 minutes, although treatment time can vary based on the infusion, ingredients, dose, IV access, and individual tolerance. Specialty treatments such as NAD+ may take longer.

What does IV therapy feel like?+

You'll feel a brief needle stick when the IV catheter is placed. Once the catheter is in position, most patients simply relax while the infusion is administered.

Some ingredients can produce temporary sensations during infusion. Tell your nurse immediately if you experience discomfort or unusual symptoms.

How quickly will I feel the effects?+

It varies. Some patients report feeling different during or shortly after treatment, while others notice subtler effects or no subjective difference at all. IV therapy should not be marketed or viewed as a guaranteed cure, and individual responses vary.

How often can I receive IV therapy?+

That depends on the treatment, your medical history, ingredients being administered, and clinical goals. More is not automatically better. Our clinical team can help determine an appropriate treatment schedule.

Can I customize my IV?+

Depending on the treatment and clinical protocol, certain add-ons or modifications may be available. Every ingredient must be medically appropriate for you.

What is a Myers-style IV?+

A Myers-style infusion generally refers to an IV containing a combination of vitamins and minerals inspired by formulations historically associated with physician John Myers. Specific formulations vary between practices.

Do you offer IVs for hangovers?+

We offer hydration and wellness treatments that may be selected by patients experiencing symptoms after alcohol consumption.

IV therapy does not instantly eliminate alcohol from your bloodstream and should never be used as a way to make impaired driving or continued drinking safe. Patients showing signs of severe alcohol intoxication or another medical emergency require appropriate emergency medical care.

Can an IV cure a migraine?+

IV treatment should not be considered a guaranteed cure for migraine. Depending on your history and symptoms, certain supportive treatments may be considered by a clinician. New, severe, unusual, or neurologically concerning headaches require appropriate medical evaluation.

Can you treat nausea?+

Certain prescription medications may be available for eligible patients after appropriate clinical screening. Persistent or severe nausea and vomiting may indicate a condition requiring additional medical evaluation.

Do you offer Toradol?+

Ketorolac, commonly known by the brand name Toradol, may be available when clinically appropriate. It is a prescription nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication and is not appropriate for everyone. Your clinician must review relevant health history and contraindications before administration.

NAD+ & Specialty Wellness Therapy

What is NAD+?+

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, or NAD+, is a naturally occurring coenzyme involved in cellular energy metabolism and numerous biological processes.

NAD+ therapies have become popular in wellness settings, but research regarding many marketed wellness and anti-aging claims remains developing. We believe patients should receive realistic information rather than promises that exceed available evidence.

What is an NAD+ IV?+

NAD+ IV therapy involves administering NAD+ intravenously under clinical supervision. Infusion protocols and duration can vary considerably depending on dose and patient tolerance.

How long does NAD+ take?+

NAD+ is often infused more slowly than standard hydration IVs. Higher doses may require considerably longer appointments depending on patient tolerance and clinical protocol.

What does NAD+ feel like?+

Some patients experience temporary sensations such as warmth, chest or abdominal pressure, nausea, cramping, or discomfort when NAD+ is infused too quickly. Slowing the infusion may improve tolerance.

Always tell your nurse immediately about symptoms during treatment.

Do you offer NAD+ injections?+

NAD+ intramuscular options may be available in addition to IV therapy. Ask our team about current dosing options and eligibility.

Wellness Injections

What injections do you offer?+

Available injections may include options such as vitamin B12, B-complex formulations, biotin, MIC/lipotropic injections, glutathione, NAD+, and other wellness treatments. Availability may change, and every treatment remains subject to clinical eligibility.

Can I receive an injection without getting an IV?+

Yes, many injections can be administered as standalone treatments. Standalone injections may have different minimum purchase or travel requirements than injections added to an IV appointment.

Can I add an injection to my IV?+

Often, yes. Ask your nurse or booking team which injections are available as add-ons to your scheduled treatment.

Are vitamin injections safe?+

Even vitamins and naturally occurring substances can cause side effects, interact with medications, or be inappropriate at certain doses or for certain medical conditions. That's why we screen patients before treatment rather than assuming that "natural" automatically means risk-free.

Mobile & Concierge Appointments

Do you come to me?+

Yes. Summit Elite was built around concierge care. Depending on the service, location, staffing, and clinical requirements, treatment may be available in your home, hotel, office, vacation rental, event space, or another appropriate location.

What areas do you serve?+

We serve Nashville and many surrounding communities. Travel availability and any applicable travel charges depend on your location. Enter your service address during booking or contact us to confirm availability.

Can you come to my hotel?+

Yes, when permitted by the property and appropriate for the treatment being provided.

Can you come to an Airbnb or vacation rental?+

Generally, yes, provided the property allows visitors or outside service providers and there is an appropriate environment in which to provide care.

Do you treat groups?+

Yes. Group appointments can be a great option for weddings, bachelor or bachelorette weekends, birthdays, corporate wellness events, vacations, celebrations, and groups of friends. Contact us for group availability and pricing.

Can multiple people receive different treatments during the same appointment?+

Often, yes. Each person is still treated as an individual patient and must complete any required forms, screening, consent, and medical evaluation.

Appointments & Booking

How do I book?+

Appointments can be requested through our online booking system or by contacting Summit Elite directly. Some services require additional clinical screening before the appointment is confirmed.

Do I need to complete forms before my appointment?+

Yes, when required. Completing your intake forms ahead of time helps our clinical team review your medical history and makes your appointment more efficient.

Why do you ask about my medications and medical history?+

Because even seemingly simple wellness and aesthetic treatments can have contraindications, interactions, and risks.

Please provide complete and accurate information. Never omit a medical condition or medication because you think it isn't relevant.

Do I need a Good Faith Exam?+

Certain medical services may require an appropriate evaluation before treatment. If one is required, we'll guide you through the process.

What happens if I am not medically cleared?+

We won't provide a treatment that our clinical team believes is inappropriate or unsafe. When possible, we'll discuss alternative options or recommend that you follow up with your primary-care provider or another appropriate healthcare professional.

Aesthetic Consultations

I'm not sure whether I need Botox, filler, or something else. Can you help?+

Absolutely.

You don't need to diagnose your own face before making an appointment. Tell us what bothers you, what you'd like to change, and how subtle or noticeable you want your results to be. Your injector can explain the options that may be appropriate for your anatomy and goals.

Can I bring inspiration photos?+

Yes. Photos can be helpful for communicating your aesthetic preferences, but every person's facial anatomy is different. We'll use inspiration as a conversation starter rather than promising to duplicate another person's appearance.

Can I get Botox and filler during the same appointment?+

In some cases, multiple treatments can be performed during the same visit. Your injector will determine whether combining treatments is appropriate for you.

What if I want an extremely subtle result?+

Tell us. Aesthetic treatment doesn't have to mean dramatic change. Many patients simply want to look refreshed while still looking completely like themselves.

What if I want a more dramatic result?+

Tell us that too. Understanding your desired outcome helps your injector develop an appropriate treatment plan while maintaining safety and realistic expectations.

Before Your Appointment

How should I prepare for my appointment?+

Preparation depends on the treatment you're receiving. You'll receive treatment-specific instructions when appropriate. Follow those instructions carefully and contact us if you have questions.

Should I stop my medications before aesthetic injections?+

Do not stop prescription medication unless instructed by the healthcare professional who manages that medication or by an appropriate treating clinician. Certain medications and supplements may increase bruising risk, but your health comes first.

Should I eat before IV therapy?+

Unless you've been instructed otherwise, eating an appropriate meal before your appointment may help you feel more comfortable during treatment.

Should I hydrate before an IV?+

Yes, unless you've been given fluid restrictions by a healthcare provider. Being reasonably hydrated can also make IV access easier.

Aftercare

Will I receive aftercare instructions?+

Yes. When appropriate, you'll receive instructions specific to your treatment. Please follow those instructions even if you've received the same type of treatment somewhere else in the past.

What if I have a question after my treatment?+

Contact us. We want patients to reach out when something doesn't feel right rather than worrying alone or relying exclusively on internet advice.

What if I think I'm having an emergency?+

Call 911 or seek emergency medical care immediately. Do not wait for a social-media response, email response, or routine callback from our office when you believe you're experiencing a medical emergency.

Pricing & Payment

How much do treatments cost?+

Pricing varies by treatment, medication, dosage, product, treatment area, and individual treatment plan. Current pricing is available through our website or booking system, and we'll explain expected costs before treatment whenever possible.

Do you accept credit and debit cards?+

Yes. Summit Elite is primarily a card-based practice.

Can I use HSA or FSA funds?+

Certain medically eligible services may qualify for payment using HSA or FSA funds. Eligibility depends on your plan and the service being purchased. We cannot guarantee reimbursement or eligibility, so check with your plan administrator when necessary.

Do you offer financing?+

Financing options may be available for qualifying patients and services. Check our payment and financing information or contact us for currently available options.

Do you accept CareCredit?+

CareCredit may be available for eligible services. Ask our team for current payment options and applicable terms.

Do you offer memberships?+

Yes. Membership options may be available for patients who receive recurring wellness, IV, injection, weight-management, or other services. Current membership benefits and pricing are available on our website.

Do you offer packages?+

Yes. Packages may be available for selected services, including IV therapy and other recurring treatments.

Can discounts be combined?+

Unless specifically stated otherwise, promotional offers, membership discounts, referral credits, coupons, package pricing, and other discounts generally cannot be stacked. Review the terms of the specific promotion or ask our team before booking.

Do you offer referral rewards?+

Yes. Our referral program rewards both existing patients who refer someone to Summit Elite and eligible new patients who are referred. Current referral terms are available from our team.

Cancellations, Deposits & Rescheduling

Is a deposit required?+

A deposit may be required to reserve certain appointments, particularly concierge or mobile appointments. The amount and applicable terms will be shown during booking or communicated before your appointment is confirmed.

Why do you require a deposit?+

Mobile and concierge appointments reserve dedicated clinical time and travel capacity. Deposits help protect that time and allow us to maintain appointment availability for patients who need care.

What happens if I need to reschedule?+

Contact us as soon as possible. Whether your deposit can be transferred to another appointment depends on our current cancellation and rescheduling policy.

What happens if Summit Elite has to reschedule me?+

Occasionally, circumstances involving clinical staffing, medication availability, severe weather, emergencies, or other unexpected situations may require us to adjust an appointment. We'll work with you to find another appropriate appointment time.

Safety

Are IVs and injections risk-free?+

No medical procedure is completely risk-free. Potential risks vary by treatment and can include bruising, discomfort, bleeding, infection, allergic reaction, medication side effects, infiltration of an IV, vein irritation, dizziness, and other complications.

Your clinician will review relevant risks and obtain appropriate consent before treatment.

Are aesthetic injections risk-free?+

No. Botulinum toxin and dermal filler treatments have known risks and potential complications. Some complications are minor and temporary; others can be serious. Your injector will review treatment-specific risks before obtaining your consent.

Where do your medications and products come from?+

Prescription medications and medical products are obtained through appropriate medical and pharmacy supply channels consistent with applicable requirements. When relevant, we'll identify whether a medication is FDA-approved, compounded, or being used off-label so that you can make an informed decision about your treatment.

What does "off-label" mean?+

Off-label use means an FDA-approved medication or device is being used in a manner that differs from its specific FDA-approved labeling. Off-label prescribing is common throughout medicine and can be clinically appropriate when supported by a healthcare professional's judgment.

When relevant, your clinician can explain whether a proposed treatment is off-label and why it is being considered.

Does "FDA-approved" mean a treatment has no risks?+

No. FDA approval means a product has undergone the applicable regulatory review for specific uses. Every medication and medical device can still have risks, contraindications, side effects, and limitations.

Results & Expectations

Do you guarantee results?+

No. Medicine and aesthetics don't come with guaranteed outcomes. Individual responses vary based on anatomy, physiology, medical history, medications, lifestyle, treatment selection, adherence, and many other factors. We'll give you realistic expectations based on the information available, but we will never promise a specific result.

Will my results look like someone else's?+

Not necessarily. Your anatomy, metabolism, facial structure, health history, starting point, and treatment response are uniquely yours. Our goal is to develop a treatment plan for you rather than copy someone else's.

How do I know which treatment to choose?+

You don't have to figure it out alone. Schedule a consultation and tell us what you'd like to improve. We'll discuss your goals, health history, options, risks, expected outcomes, costs, and alternatives so you can make an informed decision.
